WWI DOUGHBOY EMERGENCY RATION

Rick Keller was kind enough to loan me an original from Great War's collection for this reproduction. It is perfect in every detail.

The lid is "friction fit" so you can pack it with whatever you like and use it over and over. Every doughboy should have one of these in his tunic pocket.

This reproduction D Ration, like the reproduction K Ration, is based on extensive research provided primarily by: QMC Historical Studies, The Development of Special Rations for the Army, September 1944 (Reprinted by George A. Peterson, NCHS, Inc.).

This reproduction is based on recommendations arising from a test conducted at the Edgewood Arsenal in the summer of 1941.

Includes: Outer box with kraft paper wrapper, Cellophane wrapped 4 oz. Chocolate bar.
